Meet Kohberg online at PLMA

PLMA is a digital trade show this year. Although everything will be done differently this time, we are still looking forward to meeting you. Meet us on our virtual stand at PLMA online on 3-4 December, where you can immerse yourself in our flavoursome universe of Danish pastry.

We are online to answer questions and present a selection of our delicious bread and pastries. For example, we will be introducing our universe of Danish pastry that includes classic and new interpretations of popular Danish bakery products.

The filling makes all the difference

Do you know what, above all, makes Danish pastry unique? The special lamination technique, in which the pastry dough is folded around the fat content, helps to create the many layers that, in the end, give Danish pastry its characteristic crispy bite. However, you can make Danish pastry in many different ways and fill it with all sorts of fillings. The filling makes the world of difference. We believe it is all a matter of delicately balancing the flavours. This is precisely what our bakers set out to do when they developed two new products, Premium Cinnamon Whirl and Salted Caramel Plait.

When we go online at PLMA, we will introduce you to two different types of Danish pastry, where we have paid special attention to the flavour and created attractive pastries that look great when served.

New interpretation of a classic

Our bakers truly master the art of reinterpretation. At last year’s PLMA, there were plenty of opportunities to taste our four new vegan Danish pastry variants – innovation, trend and tradition in every single mouthful. You will be able to learn a great deal more about our vegan Danish pastry this year. We focus on the innovative flavours. The dough is 100 % vegan and made without palm oil. The new recipes presented challenges during the development process but our bakers rose to the challenge. They have created Danish pastries that reach the same high standards as classic variants that are customarily baked with generous amounts of margarine or butter.

Did you taste them last year? If not, contact us at PLMA online and we will help you to obtain samples.
