Personal Data Protection Policy

We Take Good Care of Your Personal Information

We want you to feel safe when visiting our website – including when it comes to the protection of your personal data.

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously, and compliance with applicable legislation is a matter of course for us. The legal basis for our processing of personal data is Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We want you to know when we collect and process data, what data we collect, and how we use it. We have implemented technical and organizational measures to ensure that data protection regulations are observed by both us and our external service providers.

Personal Data

Personal data is information relating to your identity and includes, for example, details such as your name, address, telephone number, or email address.

As a general rule, you do not need to disclose personal data when using our website. However, in certain cases we require your name, address, email address, telephone number, invoicing and accounting documentation, and other details in order to provide the services you request. The same applies, for example, when we need to send information or respond to individual inquiries. Whenever such information is required, we will make this clear.

We only collect and process information that you have voluntarily provided to us or that is automatically collected through your use of the internet (e.g., cookies, browser information, and similar data). If you use specific services, we will only collect, process, and use the information necessary to provide those services. If we ask for additional information, providing it will always be voluntary.

The collection, processing, and use of personal data take place solely for the purpose of delivering requested services and safeguarding our legitimate business interests.

Purpose-Limited Use

The personal data you provide to us will be collected, processed, and used exclusively for the purposes communicated to you. Personal data will not be transferred to third parties without your consent.

The collection, processing, and use of personal data, as well as the transfer of such data to government institutions and authorities entitled to receive it, will only take place within the framework of applicable laws or if we are legally required by a court order to disclose the information.

Purpose of Processing Personal Data

We collect, process, and use the personal data you provide in order to respond to your inquiry, process your order, or give you access to specific information or offers. To maintain our customer relationships, it may also be necessary for us or one of our service providers to collect, process, and use personal data in order to contact you regarding product offers that may be beneficial to your business or to conduct online surveys that help us better meet your needs and preferences.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, nor do we otherwise market it. We also use anonymized data about your website behavior to target advertising, so that you are shown only the most relevant advertisements for Kohberg whenever possible.

If you subscribe to one or more of our newsletters, we will store your personal data for as long as you wish to receive material from us and for two years thereafter. If we have collected publicly available information about you to carry out marketing initiatives, we will store that information for as long as the relevant initiative is active and for two years thereafter.

Newsletters and Competitions

If we offer you the opportunity to receive our newsletter and you subscribe, we will only collect and process the personal data that you voluntarily provide. By subscribing, you accept these terms.

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by using the unsubscribe link included at the bottom of every newsletter. After subscribing, you will receive a confirmation email. This email contains a link that you must use to confirm your subscription. Only after clicking this link will your personal data be used for marketing and advertising purposes through our newsletter.

The same applies when participating in competitions organized by Kohberg Bakery Group A/S.
